Jon Houglum graduated from Moorhead State University, Moorehead Minnesota with a B.S. Degree in Art Education. He also studied four years privately under Antonias Raemaechers, a Dutch Master, Martinsville, Indiana, while also taking two years of portraits and figures at the John Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis, Indiana. His works are included in many private and public collections including John Collette Fine Art Gallery in Highlands, North Carolina.
