June Exhibit: This June, the Geary Gallery of Darien presents “The Drama of Light,” featuring the work of classical Flemish painter and Greenwich resident, Peter Arguimbau. Click it for Cassie, June 2013; read the release May Exhibit: Through May, the Geary Gallery of Darien proudly presents “Richness in Realism,” an appreciation of the lush landscapes and elegant still lifes of Pennsylvania fine artist, Jim Rodgers. April Exhibit: Celebrate spring with our April exhibit: “Use of Shadow and Light,” featuring the beautiful natural oils of Bronx fine artist, John Folchi. March Exhibit: Craving springtime? Warm up at Geary Gallery in March for “Spring and Summer: A Study in Contemporary Realism,” featuring the gorgeous natural oil paintings of Marianne Kuhn. January Exhibits: Through January, the Geary Gallery of Darien proudly presents “By Land and By Sea,” featuring the stunning landscapes, seascapes and portraits of Fairfield painter, Karl Soderlund. Also featured this month, “Essence of a Painting,” the work of the late New York artist, Michael Lowenbein (1935-2009). December Exhibits: Geary Gallery of Darien is proud to present “The Little Treasures Holiday Show,” a collection of unique and affordable pieces, all 9” x 12” or smaller. The show includes some of the region’s best artists, including three local artists: Kathleen Lee from Long Island, NY, Murray Smith from upstate New York, and Daphne Cochran from Rowayton, CT. November Exhibits: The Geary Gallery of Darien presents, “Jim Rodgers: Tranche de Vie,” an exhibit of the poetic portrayal of nature and slice of life vision of landscape and oil painter, Jim Rodgers, Nov. 1 to Nov. 31. Plus from Nov. 17 to Dec. 24, the Gallery presents “The Little Treasures Holiday Show,” a collection of unique and affordable fine art, all 8” x 10” or smaller, from some of the region’s best artists. October Exhibits: The Geary Gallery of Darien presents “The Art of Decoy Carving with Kevin Kerrigan.” Kevin Kerrigan will be at Geary Gallery for a delightful decoy carving show on Saturday, September 29 from 5pm-8pm. SPECIAL 2-WEEK-ONLY SHOWCASE AT THE GEARY GALLERY OF DARIEN: “The Lure of Travel — Moments of Noticing.” The Mixed Media 3-Dimensional Paintings of Susan Crawford. September Exhibits: Pop art icon Peter Max unveils his Masters Series, plus the art of decoy carving with Kevin Kerrigan this September. August Exhibit: Fans of abstract impressionism, don’t miss “Robert Weinstein: Still Lifes & Cityscapes” through August 31 at Geary Gallery. July Exhibit: Geary Gallery of Darien is proud to present "Eileen Serwer: Passion for Pastels" featuring the breathtakingly beautiful pastel paintings of award-winning New York artist, Eileen Serwer. Admission is free. March Exhibit: "Environmentalism Through Art" featuring the work of local artists, Diane Aeschliman and Marlene Wiedenbaum this month at the Geary Gallery.
