Featured Artists, December:
After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Bronx native Sue Barrasi traveled Europe and devoured the works of the masters, especially Claude Monet with whom she has been obsessed with since she was a child. Barrasi found her way to the Art Students League where she had the incredible fortune of studying with Sherrie McGraw, David Leffel, and Gregg Kreutz.
She has been awarded an Art Students League, Artist in Residency grant and a New York State Council on the Arts Individual Artist grant. In 2014 she studied at the Ridgewood Art Institute with John Phillip Osborne. It is here where she explored the prismatic palette which she continues to study today.

Born in New York City in 1946, Roger R. Milinowski spent his early years in Peekskill, NY, where his natural artistic ability was nurtured living amidst the beauty in the Hudson River Valley and later in a coastal Connecticut town.
The quaint settings of coastal America and rural country farms are perfect subjects for Milinowski’s realistic yet sensitive artistic style. He travels the Eastern U.S. coast and abroad painting en plein air and gathering field studies that are used as reference material for many of his compositions.
Milinowski’s works have received numerous awards and are found in private and corporate collections in the United States, Israel, Canada, Australia, and England. Milinowski lives in Boothbay Harbor, Maine with his wife Judy, where his full collection of paintings is available for viewing at his studio/gallery, Head of the Harbor Gallery in Maine.
